Indoor Party Games for Children
Most of the indoor party games are designed to make the party,
whether birthday or best performance party, enjoyable and interactive.
Proper planning of the indoor games is required to avoid any accidents
when playing. Most children’s games never lose appeal especially to
children learning them for the first time. Older kids usually require
indoor party games that require more skills. These indoor party games
can also be considered for children living in areas that experience
winter or very cold seasons.

Most of the indoor party games involve use of food and other non-harmful
material such as balloons and the use of imaginative, simple rules or
repetitive actions so as to keep the kids entertained. Indoor party
games can be classified into there main groups; individual games, team
games and crafts games.
Individual indoor party games usually do not produce a winner. This
group of indoor games includes the clapping or singing games, which most
small children like, to the popular chocolate games that much older kids
like playing.
Indoor team games are usually challenging games and require
concentration from the participants. These party games are loved by most
children, since they allow the children to actively participate and
require them to use brain power too. Some of the team indoor games
include the clothes swap that involves children jumping in and out of
clothes as a way of overcoming challenges, surprise sentence
construction or trivia questions.

Some of the indoor party games require specific playing tools. One such
game is the Lazy Tennis that for children to be able to play requires
chairs, strings and a balloon. This game requires the team members to
ensure the balloon does not touch the net or ground.
Other indoor party games such as Nuts can cause the rooms to look very
messy and hence need to be played on floors that are easy to clean. This
indoor party game involves the players scooping the nuts and passing
them through a line to the end of the line where an empty bucket is
placed. The team which passes all its nuts and cleans the area first
becomes the winner.
Another indoor intellectual game is the Trivia Quiz. This party game
requires prior preparations where the questions are written down. Mainly
the questions asked have a direct relation to the theme of the party. A
time is set for answering each question by two or more different groups.
This game can be played in pairs or individually.
Surprise Sentence is one of the latest indoor party games that most
children enjoy playing. The objective of this game is to make
grammatical sentences without any proper planning or with random words.
The team with the most grammatically correct or funniest sentences is
usually considered the winners.

Craft indoor games are designed not only to empower the children in
their creativity but to also enable them express their skills. Here the
children are given the chance to develop arts that are able to pass on a
particular message.
